You will not find many instructors using these new techniques and I am probably the most qualified in Milton Keynes to deliver them:-

I was very nervous before starting driving lessons, but these nerves quickly faded away from the very first lesson! Steve is brilliant at explaining things in a way you can understand and gives you so much confidence. He always turns up early so you can get the most out of the lessons. I got lots of support for my theory test and for my practical. Even though i got extremely apprehensive just before the test, he quickly reassured me that i was ready for the test and that i could do it! And i did, i passed yesterday, with just three minors! I started learning with another instructor and didn't feel I was making much progress so I tried a different instructor (Steve). I was initially a very nervous driver but I felt a lot more confident having Steve as an instructor as he is very patient, but will also let you know when you make mistakes and help you to improve these no matter how many times it may take! Also it is good value for money as he was always early for my lessons, and never cancelled or turned up late even once. I would highly recommend Steve as a driving instructor to anyone :)

As a nervous driver and after many other instructors, I found steve. He is the best instructor anyone could wish for, he knows when you're nervous and talks to you calmly and the nerves just go. He tells you when your ready for your test and does not let you waste money on lessons you don't need. He is always early for your lesson and asks you what you want to do. I cannot recommend steve enough, i have passed my test and will miss my driving lessons with steve as every one was enjoyable. Thank you so much Steve, You really are the best

I highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a driving instructor. He is very professional and takes his job and your driving very seriously. Thank you for all your help and support. I passed my driving test second time, although steve is a great instructor as well a great tutor. Steve was clear at giving instruction from step to step in process of learning; as well as learning how to drive, he gave great knowledge on hazzards and perceptions and theory. Also when i was unsure how to do manoeuvres, he gave great instruction. I would recommend anyone who is learning to drive to go with steve because he's a great tutor. Steve's teaching was very clear, showing clearly his experience, he was often early and always honest (unlike other instructors he never will ask you to take more practices when you are good driver & confident). Steve is AMAZING! I don't think you could find another instructor as kind and patient anywhere else. I Just wanted to say a massive Thank-you, you always told me i would pass my test 1st time with less than 5 minors and Today I did. Steve is a great instructor, really relaxed and patient. He could always spot why I was making mistakes and helped me view things differently in order to improve my driving. Steve would always ask what I wanted to work on and fit that into the lesson, rather than stick to a strict lesson plan as some other instructors seem to. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone, but especially nervous drivers, as I was in the beginning.

Steve has been a really good instructor because he is patient, calm and manages to understand what your driving worries are before you even realise!! I struggled with driving for a long time and really appreciated having someone to help me work through each obstacle step by step (including the B&Q roundabouts). I've never had lessons with a professional instructor before Steve so might be deemed as biased but honestly that is what Steve is - a professional! He is exactly what I'd envisaged a good driving instructor to be: punctual,never demeaning & a straight talker. Steve is such a calm and patient driving instructor. Even when I went wrong he managed not to panic me and just calmly explained what happened. He is excellent at detecting what you are worried about and when you are feeling unsure of something even if you havent told him. I believe he takes great care and thought into adapting his teaching methods to how he feels each individual will get the best out of his lessons. I would recommend Steve to anyone and everyone, and I have!! Top man, Makes driving and learning FUN!! Any time I was worried or had a question or was stuck on my theory practice questions, I didnt have to wait till my next lesson, I was always able to text him with my query and get a helpful response very quickly. Steve you are the best!!! I was struggling to pass the driving test for more than 3 years and with just a month training with you I achieved that success. Well what can i say, didnt think my nerves would let me get here but iv passed, cheers steve wouldnt have done it without ya!!! I had driven a manual a few times and had some really bad experiances with well known driving schools. My sis in law said i should try automatic with steve and i never looked back, so glad i can now have so much more freedom for me an the kids. i have little patience with myself, steve praised me all the time and when it did go wrong would ask me why i thought that was and would calmly run through it with me, giving me much more confidance. i have recomended steve and will continue to do so to anyone who asks.

I must admit after my first lesson with Steve I learnt more than I would have learnt with my previous instructor. I started learning to drive in Worcester, but moved to Milton Keynes before I was ready to take the test. I found Steve through doing a search on line, and after reading all the comments from others he had previously taught, I decided to give him a try and I found that everything that everyone else said about him were absolutely true! Steve has been a wonderful teacher with very key qualities that are important when working with someone learning to drive -- such as patience, understanding, full of praise for the progress made, very calm even in difficult or trying situations. I started my driving lesson's at the begining of Sep 2009 with Steve & I couldn't have asked for a better instructor! Steve was with me all the way, he praised me constantly throughout my driving lessons when i was doing well & was also really calm when it came to telling me if i did anything wrong & how i could correct it. Steve never cut my lessons short for any reason, they were always on time or over. I passed my driving test beginning of Dec 2009 which was a month before my goal of Jan 2010 (12 weeks exactly and i passed!!!) & its all thanks to Steve :) I could not fault Steve if i tried & would recommend him to anyone wanting to take lessons. After taking some initial driving lessons with another MK based firm, I thought that I was never going to learn to drive. I changed to Steve's driving school and found Steve to be a very calm and chilled driving instructor, who helped me see quickly and calmly what I needed to do and helped me to pass my test 1st time, which I was amazed at. Steve really was a great instructor, he easily picked out the areas of my driving which needed improvement and ways in which I could do this. His prices are fair for an hour and although lessons would sometimes overrun (bargain!) they were never cut short. His flexibility in working mornings, evening and weekends was really useful - even though I have a demanding job we still managed to fit in a fairly intensive set of lessons and I passed in just over a month. My first driving instructor left me terrified sitting behind the wheel and when I started lessons with Steve I was inconfident, tense and scared! STEVE IS AN ABSOLUTE LEDGEND!!!!!!!! My previous driving instructor was soooo nasty to me and used to shout at me and i really began to feel like i was the worst driver in the world!! I had recently had my licence revoked... had to resit the test, i found steve on the internet and thought i would give it a go and it was the best decision i made!! i had a lot of bad habits to correct... steve was so friendly and was always positive... Steve has been very helpful with all aspects of my driving. I found steve through my sister as she was driving with him beforehand. She went on to past with him so i decided to learn with him. It was a good decisiom as i to went on to past with him first time. His teaching methods are really down to earth and simple to follow. I returned to learning with virtually no confidence, after failing 2 tests just over 4 years ago. I passed my test this morning after just 4 months with Steve! Steve is extremely professional and incredibly patient. He was intuitive and gave heaps of advice and encouragement which boosted my confidence, he really helped me to believe in myself. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone who is looking for a competent and patient instructor. Thanks for everything Steve.

Having been with BSM in London I was a bit sceptical that a private tutor could meet the standard I was used to. Steve quickly wiped this idea out! He is one excellent instructor with the ability to gauge your ability and adapt his techniques towards them, giving you a personalised learning experience. The training i received at Streve`s Driving Tuition was excellent and extremely thorough. Steve was very helpful, answering all my question and really put me at ease when driving. He was positive and friendly throughout my lessons and really encouraged me whilst pointing out areas of improvement. All my lessons were thoroughly professional and carried out in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. I will advise anyone who is thinking of taking driving lesson`s with steve to go ahead with it, as the training is excellent and they will definitely enjoy their lessons. Steve's patience, dedication and advice was above and beyond what I expected, and I can't express my gratitude enough. I left it quite late to start learning to drive, mostly because of time constraints, but also because I'm not a very practical person, Steve picked up on this straight away (a true professional!) and helped me develop my co-ordination skills as well as overcoming bad driving habits and building my confidence.....and he did all of this in a fun and enjoyable way. I think if I had anyone else I would still be taking lessons right now! But instead I passed 1st time!
